Educational Grants & Scholarships....Each year we issue three grants to assist in the training of future stem cell and/or genetics experts. These grants can be used for textbooks, lab fees, student housing, tuition, etc... These grants are issued up to $2,500 and are administered through our Board of Directors who (along with assistants) check each application and vote on the amount, and the individual to receive such grants.
Research Grants: Grants are given out throughout the year as funds become available to different research facilities in the Ohio region. These grants are administered through our Advisory Committee and are forwarded to the Board of Directors for a final vote.
The Global Medical Research Fund is considering a third option to our list. As cures become available through stem cell and genetic research there are many people who DO NOT have adequate health insurance (in most cases the insurance companies will NOT cover treatments anyway), so we are proposing a "Health Scholarship" which will assist families with covering the costs of being cured.
